Semi-Private Swimming lessons, July 11-14. Lessons are Monday through Thursday, 50 minutes per day. 3 students per teacher. All swimmers must shower before entering the pool. Lessons are for children 5 and older. Swim lessons offered through Community Education are designed to teach participants lifelong swimming skills and provide training in basic water safety and how to help a swimmer in distress. In addition to the skills outlined under each level, swim lesson courses are intended to provide a positive learning experience so participants can feel comfortable and enjoy the water safely.Community Education swimming lessons are progressive, with each level building on skills, technique and endurance acquired as the levels advance. Please do not sign up for more than one level per child until they have passed their current level. Our instructors recommend time between lessons to build endurance and confidence in new skills.*Must wear a swim cap. Caps can be purchased at Coborn's in Melrose. Parents are invited to watch in the bleachers if they would like to. Please enter/drop off at door 13 by the auditorium for all swim lessons.Parents, please keep track your child's swim levels, you will receive a report card after each session!
