Summer Recreation programs are a great way for children to try new things, get outside, grow, learn and be active.
This is a program to serve youth.
Melrose Staff: If you are interested in learning how to sew, make beautiful homemade items, or explore a new hobby this class is for you!. Access to a sewing machine is not necessary as most of it should be done in class. During class time you will have access to the school's sewing machines. If you don't know how to operate a sewing machine, we can help! Participants are in charge of paying for their own material and class fee through community ed. -Class Fee $40.00 - Maximum People: 14 -Tentative Dates: Wednesday, May 22 6:00-9:00pm Wednesday, May 29 6:00-9:00pm Wednesday, June 5 6:00-9:00pm -Materials- Fabric for tote bag (list to come) Sewing machine if you need help operating it otherwise, students may use the school sewing machines so they don't have to haul their machine back and forth. Sewing Supplies (scissors, matching thread, pins and pin cushion).
